11-06-09_Just too late for a big salmon

 On June 10th 2009 at around 1530, I stepped into one of my favourite pools of the Verdalselva, my home river. I was very surprised not to find anybody around. Having made some 15 casts, I heard big shouting from below. Five minutes later, three guys carrying a big salmon showed up. When asking them where they had hooked the fish, the answer was "right there in front of you but just 45 minutes earlier... ". What was left for me was to use my scale in order to find out that Henrik's fish turned out to weigh 16,8 kg( 37 lbs)!
